From the Editor:

Hello to all our customers. We're now on the World Wide Web in an effort to reach you all with news from us as it happens. Here's the latest Palmergram with more pictures, suggestions and comments. Also information on new items available, and new additions. The recipe corner for all you cooks and our usual "What's Happening at PI" with service tips for your vehicle. Thanks for your help, the good letters and comments.

Computer Statistics:

We have compiled a list of the six most purchased accessories for our vehicles.

By far:
Can you guess what is the number 1 request? ................... #1 Spare Key Set!

Take a good Book:

...with you wherever you go.

It's the best way to beat the "hurry up and wait" system. Instead of being annoyed at having to wait for someone, read your book. Instead of thinking about pain or how long your Doctor makes you wait, read your book! Great therapy!! At the drive-in window don't worry when you're supposed to move, the car behind will remind you within two seconds (they have no book). Keep one in your car, handbag, and yes- even in the tool box. Saves wear and tear on nerves and turns frustrating time into a too brief pleasure.

Mil's Broccoli Salad:

1 Head Broccoli, chopped
10 Slices cooked Bacon, cut up
1 Small Sweet Onion, chopped
1/2 Cup Raisins (optional)

Mix Together: 1 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tbs. Vinegar
1/4 Cup Sugar
Pour mixture over first four ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate 2-3 hours before serving.

Mil's Mind

I'm thankful for being amoung the undead.

Iffy Column:

If you don't like receiving our illustrious Palmergrams, please drop us a line. You're on our list and probably will be until you or we die. We hate to lose a good name!

If at first you don't succeed, try looking in the waste basket for the directions.

If you look like your passport photo, you're too ill to travel.

Service Tips:

When checking fluid level in your batteries, always make sure you have fully charged your batteries (at least overnight) before adding water. Don't overfill. Use distilled water for longest battery life. A little paste wax now and then on the paint and chrome helps keep the finish in sparkling new condition (especially the chrome).

Order Department Says:

Please, please, pull-eease, when ordering a part, get out your Owner's Manual and give us a Part #. We are fresh out of whachamacallits and thingamijigs. If you can't find a part number, give us the page # you're on. If you can't find your Owner's Manual, we'll send you one for $32.00 That includes shipping.

Some Things New

Enclosure:

We now have an enclosure for those of you who like to ride regardless of the weather. It has see through clear Vinyl. Also has double zipper entrance and an Aluminum tube frame. Cost is $475.00 plus shipping. You can see it on the Acceessories Page. Please note, you need the Surrrey Top if you're going to get enclosure.

New Safety Item:

We now have available an amber strobe light for the Independence, Twosome and Yardkart. The strobe light is pole mounted. Cost is $160.00. Factory installed only.

Get a Yardkart Now:

Yes, for the Farmer in you. This has the wide golf cart tires in the rear for good traction on soft surfaces and the high tire in front for easy handling and steering. Got this idea from a customer who sold his tractor with his farm and moved to smaller acreage. He now tows his cart, animals and the neighborhood kids around his 1/2 acre garden.

For those of us who drink:

We have an attachable beverage can holder that mounts on the front cowel. Cost $23.00. I'll drink to that!

New Item:

Some customers use their vehicle for all their local travel and are on the machine many hours. For these gad-abouts we've taken Jim's suggestion and now offer a windshield. It clamps to the handlebar, protects your hands and face from wind. Makes for more comfortable ride when weather cools unexpectedly.

Remember When:

... It was an insult to say, 'Your Mother wears sneakers to Church"? I took count. Twenty three sneakered in last Sunday. Amen, Amen and Amen!

Tire Talk:

Yes, we put big 20" tires on your vehicle. This is for safety. Small wheelbase vehicles tip over easily outdoors. Big tires provide more traction and comfort.

Super Parts Department:

We have all parts for all vehicles we've made since we started in business 33 years ago and we proudly ship them within one day of order.

In Conclusion:

Time and space have once again saved you from more of my thoughts. If you sent a picture and weren't in this issue, your Kodak or digie kiss will be in the next Customers pictures where we're going to spotlight some surprised drivers! Until then, may your God Bless and keep you safe.

Respectfully,

Jack & Mildred

PS. Some Additional Notes

Ruth told us she has wanted a Palmer Twosome for the longest time and recently told husband, if you buy another new truck, my Twosome is going in the back of it. He did, She did, It did.

One of our braver customers chased a thief. He said, "I'm glad I didn't catch him because I don't know what I'd do." But he was able to give the police the direction the guy fled and a good description. Some heroes go 13 mph.

We like to think our vehicles can do everything for their owners but Al Lang in NJ blew our socks off when he casually told us, my vehicle started a stranded semi. A few weeks later he towed a car with it. Hooja!

A friend sent us this picture and no, we do not sell this!
