They come in 1,2,3, or 4 seaters. The Independence (pictured left) is for one person and the Twosome (pictured right) is for two people.
The cost is $4600.00* and $5100.00* respectively.
The scooters can go across grass, gravel, or snow (up to 5 inches). They have one-hand operation and can hold up to 550 Lbs. The top speed is 13 MPH, and has up to a 50 mile range.

This scooter belongs to David Wilson in upstate NY. He uses his 1994 Independence (shown with optional swivel seat and dumping trailer) to haul some "kindling". He wrote us and told us the tree was 16 inches in diameter. The scooter had no problem hauling the sawed up tree away. Each piece in the wagon weighed about 100-200 Lbs. Solid wood. "Keep doing what you do best-making good caterpiller tractors-uh, er Palmer Scooters. You are a threat to caterpiller; and why waste money on gasoline?!"
